Sojka Foundation - Not for Sale
Linda brokers a partnership between the nonprofits Sojka Foundation and Not for Sale. She arranges for Petra Hensley, a human trafficking survivor and the founder of Sojka Foundation, to appear as a keynote speaker alongside the Duchess of York, Sarah Ferguson, at the Not for Sale Global Forum to End Human Trafficking in Silicon Valley, California. Rett Syndrome Research Trust
Linda joins the Professional Advisory Council for the Rett Syndrome Research Trust (RSRT). She facilitates a partnership between RSRT and the nonprofit Creative Visions. To date, she has helped to raise over one and a half million dollars for RSRT through various fundraising events in Los Angeles. MWAC's commitment to RSRT.
RETT: There is Hope
In conjunction with REM Entertainment, Linda produces the award-winning documentary RETT: There is Hope. The film is screened at 12 film festivals, receiving multiple awards and international recognition. MWAC's commitment to the Rett Syndrome's Reasearch Trust.
President’s Volunteer Service Award
Linda is awarded the President’s Volunteer Service Award for her outstanding work with the U.S. Fund for UNICEF. She receives a Bronze Medal and a letter of commendation signed by President Barak Obama, as well as one from UNICEF USA. View the Award.

Light School Uriri

Light School Uriri is a non-governmental school whose purpose is to provide early childhood development and learning programs under a safe living environment for orphans and vulnerable children in rural Uriri, Kenya. The school’s objectives are: To provide the best education system possible, to provide a safe, clean, healthy, and conscious living environment for children while at school, and to strengthen a sense of sharing, partnership, and social networking in the Uriri district of the Nyanza Province in Kenya.

Rett Syndrome Research Trust

Rett Syndrome is the most physically disabling of the autism spectrum disorders. It strikes at random in early childhood, affecting little girls almost exclusively, and many girls live into adulthood, requiring total, 24-hour-a-day care. The Rett Syndrome Research Trust (RSRT) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization intensively focused on the development of treatments and cures for Rett Syndrome and related MECP2 disorders.

Playing For Change

Playing For Change (PFC) is a multimedia movement created to inspire, connect and bring peace to the world through music. PFC and RSRT unite to reverse Rett Syndrome. A video campaign by the PFC band was recorded in Los Angeles to raise awareness about Rett Syndrome.

Linda’s Voice

The mission of Linda’s Voice is to engage, educate and empower women to work together to end domestic abuse. The vision of Linda’s Voice is to help all women in abusive relationships find the strength and confidence to leave their abuser and move forward to live their best lives free from violence and control.

The Brent Shapiro Foundation

Help fight the disease of drug and alcohol addiction. Founded upon personal tragedy, the mission of The Brent Shapiro Foundation is to conquer alcohol and drug dependence by turning the fear, grief, and helplessness caused from this disease into awareness, compassion, and support.
