Light School Uriri is a non-governmental school whose purpose is to provide early childhood development and learning programs under a safe living environment for orphans and vulnerable children in rural Uriri, Kenya. The school’s objectives are: To provide the best education system possible, to provide a safe, clean, healthy, and conscious living environment for children while at school, and to strengthen a sense of sharing, partnership, and social networking in the Uriri district of the Nyanza Province in Kenya. So far, the school is completed with eight classrooms, a computer lab, an art lab, a library, and other spacious rooms that enable our staff and pupils to have an optimal academic system.
Light School Uriri’s mission is: The formation of each child’s moral character, skills, talents, and capacities, and achievement of the highest possible academic results.
